The big reveal!

I think it is finally time to reveal who has been making this most excellent of catblogs. When I'm not asleep, that is.

Yes! It is none other than I, Nemo Mitchell - furriest cat in town, who has the media wherewithal and internet savvy to upload our photos and inform our public about our busy lives. I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I am the brains behind this outfit. Not to mention the beauty.

And that is not all, oh no! While surfing the best cat websites I came across the Infinite Cat Project where I now reside as cat 1627, with my name in lights forever! Muahaha!

Infinitely yours,

Nemo, cat blogger extraordinaire.

Packing up

After our five month holiday here at 47, we are now preparing to move back home. We've had lots of fun and lots of new experiences. New games to play, new places to explore and new people to get to know. So all in all, quite a similar experience to Brian and Tessa have had - and we have hardly had to lift a paw from the sofa!

So now we're packing our boxes and getting ready to go home. Just working on our expenses for our second home allowance - we'll be flipping it next week for tax purposes. Seems you can claim for anything these days, let's add fish and ice cream to the list!

Summer days

I wonder what Nemo had been doing that he didn't even have the strength to stand up while we were waiting for dinner! He must have worn himself out with all the snoozing in the sun he has been doing this week.

After many months of campaigning to be let in the hut, Suso was delighted to be finally allowed in! She discovered all sorts of thrilling things in there, like boxes, spiders, boxes of spiders and plenty of hiding places...

At the barbeque

At the weekend we had a barbeque so we got lots of cuddles. Nemo and Joni are good friends and she took this portrait of him. He just wanted to make sure he was the centre of attention and no one else was in the frame!

Suso loves hanging out by the pond, prowling in the undergrowth and drinking from the stream. She also enjoyed some barbequed chicken!

Nemo has a double!

47's garden wildlife has taken to impersonating Nemo! We are wondering if this is a ploy to fool him into thinking there are no birds to chase here, just very small blue cats (with wings).

Other than birdwatching, we have been doing the usual lounging in the conservatory. We have to get up sometimes when it gets too hot!
